Deposit Saver is a trading name of Operation X Ltd. We are the data controller for the personal data we collect through depositsave.com.
2. What we collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone, address.
- Booking details: chosen service, date, time and any notes.
- Payment details: handled directly by Stripe — we do not store card numbers.
- Account details if you create an account (email and authentication info).
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and usage analytics.
3. How we use it
- To provide and schedule the services you book.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To contact you about your bookings or account.
- To improve our website, services and customer experience.
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process your data to perform our contract with you (your booking), to comply with legal obligations, and where you have given consent (e.g. marketing emails). You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Sharing your data
We share data only with trusted processors who help us run the service: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database providers, and email delivery providers. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep booking and billing records for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law (typically 6 years). Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, email depositsaveruk@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to process payments. We may also use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the site is used.
